Pear Tree Bay River, Jamaica

Coastal Systems International, Inc. provided engineering design services for an interior canal and lagoon system and developed structural designs for the stabilization and enhancement of one mile of shoreline associated with the 250 acre development known as Pear Tree Bay. The project involved redirecting the flow of the Pear Tree Bay River through 4,000 feet of new canals. Coastal Systems conducted a wave refraction analysis and produced conceptual designs for the river and beach improvements.
