The Marina, one of the most complete and modern in the Caribbean

The Cap Cana Marina is designed to be one of the most modern and complete marinas in the Caribbean, with a complete surface area of 1.5 million square meters. The central axis will be the Grand Canal (sixty meters wide and five meters deep), surrounded by luxury shops, haute cuisine restaurants, and five-star hotels.

For visitors to move around inside this canal, ecological boats called “vaporetos” or small steamboats will be used. The first of these vaporetos will begin to function in May, with a capacity to transport 15 passengers each.

The Cap Cana Marina will be the only full-service Marina within a radius of 400 kilometers between the Turks & Caicos Islands and Puerto Rico, for vessels of various sizes, including vessels over 150 feet (50 m.). It will also have a club that will offer all the services of a prestigious Yacht Club and all the comforts of a world-class resort, making its an International Yacht and Fishing Destination. At the conclusion of the final phase of the Marina, it will have capacity for more than 1,000 moorings for yachts of up to 250 in length, including mega-yachts.

Coastal Systems International, Inc., was contracted for the design of the Marina; Coasal is a prestigious North American firm of marina solutions with demonstrated expertise in the design and engineering of marinas.

The opening of this first phase of the Marina, with a surface area of 125,000 m2, will have initial availability for 58 moorings for yachts up to 60 feet. It will also offer services of a 5-star Marina such as immigration and customs services, electricity, cable television, telephone, Internet, potable water, sewerage discharge, oil discharge, and diesel and gasoline fuel service, among others. It will also have a commercial area with exclusive boutiques, gourmet restaurants, and various shops.

In addition, Cap Cana has opened a sales office in the Marina and will make available to the public a mooring rental service permitting rentals for periods of time of days, weeks, months, or years, always subject to availability.
