Topographic Surveys Coastal Systems International, Inc. collects topographic survey data within the marine environment to provide a representation of the existing terrain and all of its features. Elevations and locations of any existing rock outcroppings and/or other major structures fronting the project shorelines are identified. These surveys are used to provide background information on a site for the purposes of site development and engineering design. The survey information is used to establish a base map and provide the necessary control for all subsequent detailed survey work. We utilize EDM equipment and/or RTK, and GPS to establish ground control and conduct the surveys. Control markers and monuments are established in the field in order to maintain proper survey control for the entire project duration.
